As Upper School Head it is my great pleasure to welcome parents and their children, diverse in background, abilities and talents to an education and experience that propels our students towards college and beyond.
Our dedicated staff is proud of our students’ accomplishments because the Sage Ridge experience nurtures their intellectual interests and allows students to achieve academic success and personal growth beyond what they imagined themselves capable of. We do this by delivering a rigorous American core curriculum loaded with opportunities to participate in and exercise leadership in academic, artistic, athletic and community focused endeavors. These include outdoor education trips, a rich club and extra-curricular program, winter mini (three week)-sessions, international immersion trips, service learning projects and committed student support. The development of the whole child is also a priority with a robust advisory program and daily experience that builds strong character and holds students to the highest standards.
It only takes a few moments of conversation with a Sage Ridge student to realize that something special is happening in and out of our school’s classrooms. Students collaborate with faculty in a safe, compassionate and interdependent environment strengthened by common values, self-reliance and optimism. All of our students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and dispositions to succeed in the 21st century and we take pride in the fact that no one falls through the cracks. Finally, our students are well prepared for higher education with 100% of graduating seniors continuing their studies at universities and some of the most selective colleges in the states and abroad.
